I really hate when people say ‘I must be bipolar lol’ or ‘I’m so bipolar omg’ -___-

Shut the fuck up. Bipolar-Disorder is not something to label your completely normal teenage mood swings. It’s fucking tiring and it’s not cool or trendy. It’s something people seriously suffer from.

Oh, hello things that bother me one thousand times more than someone saying “lol i had a crazy night!”

Same goes for people joking about how they are omg so OCD about things or saying stuff like “ha ha what a schizo”.

Fucking cosigned. All disorders mentioned above can be seriously debilitating for people, and they suck.

It’s not even that they’re debilitating, although they certainly can be (however it is also possible to live and cope with these illnesses!), it’s that using this kind of language flippantly contributes to the culture of downplaying and trivializing mental illnesses. Because, ha ha, doesn’t everyone feel a little bipolar sometimes???? :3c
