I downloaded a demo for this game called ‘Reckoning: Kingdoms of Anguldfjdhfkdfantasybullcrap’ and I knew it was going to be bad because it was apparently written by RA Salvatore and yeah, oh boy was it a laughable boy-fantasy wankfest, the kind that when read around you get secondhand embarrassment from ever having glanced in the direction of a genre work just by token of its existence.
But the absolute worst thing about this game
is that within the first five minutes
it showed me gnomes
and then said: “You can be a human, a more culturally appropriative human or an elf and a more different elf.”
And I was like: “You fucker I saw the gnomes right there. They had speaking lines. Where are you hiding them from me?”
