jyami: sdalla: Art trade with Polks! Her character Rail (and Yami’s Malcom in the back too). I made Polks tell a good deal about this little lady’s backstory and characteristics, social behaviour and the environments in which these characters roll. After the chat it wasn’t hard to start drawing. Just played around with the idea of Rail and the gang getting to this weird place where no-one speaks the common tongue, and they’re supposed to find some specific place somewhere around the area. Rail takes the leader’s role in the search. Why wouldn’t she, if someone’s going to find this place without any understandable directions from the locals, it’s naturally her. They go around for hours. HOURS. And there might be some frustration from Rail’s part. The thing is, Malcom actually knows where they find what they’re looking for, so the search is actually for vain. But he plays along. Just for the fun of it. Which later on turns out to have been a grave mistake. Wonder why I would instantly think of a story like this, wonder why. Well, this was fun!  I love drawing other people’s OCs, I want to do more art tradessss~ oh my gOD I AM FREAKING THE HELL OUT HOLY CRAP????????????????????i don’t even know where to begin with this i am losing my mind over too many things at once sdfj alskdjasf OK RIGHT OFF THE BAT THIS PIC IS JUST… GORGEOUS… the colors, the shapes, the thick lines, those subtle shifts in attention and detail just melting into each other smoothly and the way you address space and the shadows in it and the BACKGROUND AND THE VIVID REDS AND YELLOWS AND THAT SWEET ASS COMPOSITION MAKING MY EYES ZIGZAG EXCITEDLY ACROSS THE PIECE i just caN’T omfgnot to mention your blurb sent this sharp spike of delight through me because it’s totally them and it’s just so thrilling to see people’s take on these characters and aghh this just made me so happy!! i already incredibly admire your work so this was just an enormous pleasure to come acrohmygodthisisntevenformeandimbeingacreep  *casually reblogs gorgeous art of other people’s OCs that I know nothing about*
